- Growth Groups
- Our next semester of Growth Groups starts the week of September 25 and will last for 12 weeks. Make plans to attend a Growth Group, because they are the key to getting connected to others here at NorthStar, as well as your own personal and spiritual growth. Sign-ups and directions are at the information table. Each group is limited to just 15 people.
- Family Hike
- Join us on Saturday, September 30th for NorthStar's 2nd annual family hike! We'll meet at 10:30 am in the High School West parking lot and caravan up to the trailhead. Led by Jody and Teri Mostoller, we'll hike Sleeping Beauty Mountain in the beautiful Adirondacks. The hike is considered easy to moderate. Children 8 and older are welcome. Be sure to pack a light lunch as we'll break at the summit to eat and enjoy the views. Sign up at the information table. Please contact Chris Litchfield with questions.
- Add 1 Goes Weekly
- Beginning September 24, Add 1 (our 7-12th grade youth group) will be meeting weekly at the YMCA from 3:00-4:30pm. Feel free to bring a friend as this exciting new youth group continues to grow!
- PALS
- PALS (Parents and Little Stars) is ready to resume events! The first event for fall will be a meeting at an apple orchard. We will meet at Bowman's Orchard on Sugar Hill Road on Friday, Sept 29 at 1:00. Any moms or dads who stay at home with children four years or under feel free to attend and invite some friends. There will be a signup at the information table if you are interested in coming. Call Toni for more info, at 638-2330.
- God's Growing Garden Training - Oct.1
- There will be a one-hour training session for all God's Growing Garden volunteers on Oct. 1 at 3:30 in the "old" Planet Northstar room at the Senior Center. All current volunteers please save the date! Anyone interested in learning more about using their gifts in this ministry is also welcome to attend. Please let Betty Cross know if you would like to come check it out!
- Discovering NorthStar 101: Membership Class - Oct.11
- If you've been attending NorthStar for at least 2 months and want to take your commitment to the next level this class is for you. It will be held Wed, Oct. 11 from 7-9 pm in our new church offices located at 1741 Rt.9 Dinner is provided. You must sign up by using the FOI card. Space is limited.
